PokerStars Rewards makes it easy to win rewards tailored to you. Earn reward points every time you play real money games – or when your bet is settled (does not apply to bets settled through PokerStars Exchange).
Collect enough points to complete your progress bars, and you’ll unlock Chests loaded with personalized rewards based on the games you like to play – including StarsCoin you can use in our Rewards Store.
You can manage all your rewards in the ‘My Rewards’ area of your account.
Chests & Rewards
PokerStars Rewards has six levels, with each level rewarding a different Chest type of increasing value. The higher your Chest Level, the greater the rewards you'll win.
The number of reward points you need, the Chest value at each level, and the number of Chests required to upgrade to each level (in a rolling 28-day period) is shown below:

If 28 days pass and you have not won a Chest, your progress bar will reset and you’ll be moved down a level, where Chests will be easier to win but will contain a lower value of rewards.
How to Earn Reward Points
You’ll earn reward points at different rates, depending on your gaming activity:
- Poker: Players earn 100 reward points for every $1 paid in fees for scheduled tournaments, and 100 reward points for every $1 paid in rake in Zoom or cash games or other tournament fees (130 reward points for every £1, and 110 points for every €1).
- Casino: Reward points are earned at the point of wagering. Click here for a breakdown of earn rates by game type, as well as how to earn redemption points playing Casino games (to clear bonuses).
- Sports: Reward points are earned when a bet is settled. For singles bets, players earn 1.1 reward points for every $1 wagered. For multiple/accumulator bets, players earn 3.1 reward points for every $1 wagered.
- Bets made in non-USD currencies are converted to USD based on the mid-market exchange rate (as per XE.com) for reward point calculation purposes.
- Reward points are not awarded for bets that are cashed out if the cashed-out value is equal to the initial bet amount.
- Example: if you bet $10 and cash out for $10, you will earn zero reward points. But if you bet $10 and cash out for more or less than $10, you will earn reward points.
- Bets made via the PokerStars Exchange do not earn reward points.
Chest Level Exchange
If you are at a higher level than Blue Chest, you will be able to exchange your progress bar for a lower level Chest. If you are eligible to exchange your progress bar, you will see the option available to you in ‘My Rewards’.
Monthly Poker Challenges
Reach Silver Chest Level or higher to unlock Monthly Poker Challenges which give you the opportunity to earn additional rewards should you reach your points target for the month. The points target and reward will be personalised to you based on your playing history and can vary each calendar month. The percentage reward available from Monthly Poker Challenges can range from 10% to up to 40% of rake and tournament fees paid and again will vary based on your playing history with our long-term winning poker players likely to receive a 10% Monthly Poker Challenge instead of the maximum 40% Monthly Poker Challenge that will be available to the majority of our players.
Just head to your Challenges Window and discover your redemption points target. Then earn the points you need within the month to unlock your reward which will be paid instantly.
You earn 5 redemption points for every $1 you pay in rake or fees across all tournaments and cash games. And you’ll still earn reward points towards your next PokerStars Rewards Chest while you play.
Terms
PokerStars Rewards Program Terms and Conditions (“PokerStars Rewards Program Terms”)
Your participation in the PokerStars Rewards program, as provided by The Stars Group, shall be deemed to constitute your full acceptance of the PokerStars Rewards Program Terms.
- Participation in the PokerStars Rewards program is subject to these PokerStars Rewards Program Terms as set out hereunder. We reserve the right to modify, add to or amend these PokerStars Rewards Program Terms at all times, and your continued participation in the program shall serve as your acceptance of and acknowledgement that you will be bound by these PokerStars Rewards Program Terms. You are encouraged to review these PokerStars Rewards Program Terms and the other PokerStars Rewards pages on a regular basis to keep up to date with its provisions and amendments.
- Membership of the PokerStars Rewards program is free and available to individuals residing in countries where such membership is allowed. Participation in some countries may be prohibited by local law.
- Players will not start earning reward points or winning rewards until they have opted into the PokerStars Rewards program via the Start button in the software – found in the main lobby or within the ‘My Rewards’ menu.
- The PokerStars Rewards program offers our loyal customers different rewards based on their play.
- Rewards may not be transferred, bartered, sold or traded in any way. Rewards can only be won, and reward points can only be accumulated, via real money play. When a reward point target is reached, players will win randomized rewards in exchange for those points, as detailed above. Rewards may include cash, game credit or StarsCoin (our virtual loyalty token that can only be exchanged for certain goods via the Rewards Store).
- Some rewards won via the PokerStars Rewards program may be subject to play-through requirements.
- Reward points are not earned through sports bets on PokerStars Exchange.
- By taking part in the PokerStars Rewards program, you acknowledge that we may refer to your username in the event that you win a significant prize. However, we will only use your name, image and likeness for publicity and marketing purposes if you receive a reward with a value greater than $9,999, and we have your written consent. Equally, we will seek your consent if we wish for you to perform interviews (without compensation) with selected press agencies as we may choose, in relation to your win.
- Any abuse of the PokerStars Rewards program (whether by collusion, cheating, fraud or other forms of impropriety) or failure to follow the PokerStars Rewards Program Terms may result in the termination of your membership and forfeiture or claw back of all accrued rewards and reward points.
- Any betting activity which is carried out fraudulently or in attempt to receive rewards without real money play will result in the forfeiture or claw back of associated rewards. Our End User Licence Agreement also applies to the PokerStars Rewards program.
- We reserve the right to claw back or reverse any award of rewards to any player where the determination to grant that player a reward or the level of reward credited to the player is as a result of manifest error, fraud, technical failure or other unforeseen circumstances.
- PokerStars Rewards program membership and benefits are provided at our sole discretion and we reserve the right to terminate and/or amend the PokerStars Rewards program (together with its benefits) at any time.
- Decisions of staff and management about any aspect of the PokerStars Rewards program will be final and not open to review or appeal.
- Chests will expire after 30 days if unopened, and expired Chests cannot be retrieved.
- Rewards you receive within Chests can also expire – check your rewards under ‘My Rewards’ for details of individual expiry dates.
- The “Monthly Poker Challenge” elements of the program are as follows:
- Eligibility to Monthly Poker Challenges is restricted to players on Silver Chest Level and above who have participated in real-money poker activity in either the previous calendar month or the current calendar month.
- The Monthly Poker Challenges will be available from the start of each calendar month. The exact times and date that they become available in each calendar month may vary.
- The duration available to complete the Monthly Poker Challenge may also vary each month and may not be the full duration of the calendar month.
- Players need to earn redemption points to complete the Challenge by playing real money poker games. Unless stated otherwise, you will earn 5 redemption points for every $1 you pay in rake or tournament fees (6.5 redemption points for every £1, and 5.5 points for every €1).
- The number of redemption points required to be earned to complete the Challenge and the reward amount may vary each monthly cycle.
- You can complete the Challenge twice during each monthly cycle.
- Challenge extensions are not allowed. Any points earned that did not result in Challenge completion will be lost after each monthly cycle concludes.
- The reward available from the Monthly Poker Challenge can vary from the equivalent of 10%, up to a maximum of 40% rakeback.
